Hi, I'm Ben! My passion for documentary style wedding photography began with a profound love for landscapes; Since 2017, I have journeyed along the stunning Cornish and Jurassic coastlines, capturing their beauty with my camera and drone. This deep passion led me to earn a degree in Photography from Portsmouth University. Since then I have been photographing weddings across Hampshire, Surrey, & beyond - and loving every second of it.
Fast forward to today, I photograph around 20 weddings a year, alongside families & engagements. As a Christian wedding photographer, I spend a lot of time photographing for my church too.
Photographing weddings is a true joy for me, as it allows me to share in the beauty of your most significant day and create timeless memories for you and your family. As someone who doesn't like being in photos himself (ironically), I know what it feels like to be uncomfortable in front of a camera! Rest assured, I will put you at ease, and I will help you treasure the most important day of your life with your best friend - without the awkwardness. I'm a young photographer, and I ensure to bring a youthful vibe to your big day! I love to joke with your guests, and genuinely get to know them as it lowers their defences and enables me to capture such raw emotion.

Relaxed Wedding Photography
Your wedding day is about you. This is something that tends to be forgotten these days, but it's a detail I hold at the centre of how I work. My sole aim on a wedding day is to capture all the genuine moments; all of the laughter, tears, and pure emotion. I like to avoid posing people as much as possible, and just allow you to be yourselves! I typically look for the best light possible, and give you guys subtle prompts to create beautiful, in the moment, modern portraits.
The couples that I work with tend to be fun, creative and relaxed couples who want the moments and the atmosphere of their big day captured without having to stand around for hours like they're at a photo shoot! It's for these same reasons that I only photograph full day weddings. I don't do half days - this just isn't enough time for me to get to know your guests and capture the story of your big day! I'm not a clock watcher, you book me for the day, and I stay for the day. I typically attend weddings for 10-12 hours, to ensure I don't miss a single moment.
