Cissbury Barns is a beautiful wedding venue in Worthing, nestled at the foot of the South Downs in West Sussex. This tranquil hideaway, just a short drive from Worthing, offers couples the perfect blend of rustic charm and timeless elegance. The venue features two beautifully restored flint barns with stunning exposed wooden beams, creating a warm, intimate atmosphere for your celebration. Laura & Josh’s Wedding
Laura & Josh had their wedding day at Cissbury Barns on the last Thursday in August 2024, and it did not disappoint! The weather was absolutely stunning, giving us 22 degree heat (not too hot thankfully) and barely a cloud all day. Laura and her bridal party got ready in the on-site Northwing apartment, which was only a 2 minute drive from the barns themselves. Those two minutes were something special however as the couple chose Something Blue for their car hire! The ceremony was held in one of the barns, with the breakfast and dancing in the other! With it being such a lovely day, everyone spent most of the day outside, and thankfully this wonderful venue makes this so easy and relaxed. Laura and Josh had a whole host of things to make their day unique, such as lawn games, unlimited ice cream (provided by Caravanilla), a BBQ for their wedding breakfast, and what felt like unlimited pizza in the evening! The BBQ & pizza were sorted out by the Gourmet Chef catering team, and it went down a treat. After the ceremony, we were serenaded by the wonderful Geralvine Vocalist, which made the drinks reception feel that little bit more special! Take a look below at my favourite 85 frames from the day! It was hard to choose so few, but I managed to reduce it down… The order may be a bit random and so please forgive me for this!
All in all, this wedding day has been one of my favourites of 2024 so far. This is a fantastic and photogenic West Sussex Wedding Venue, and one I hope I will be the photographer at again soon!
