Now booking weddings for 2025 & 2026

Engagement shoots are something I really enjoy doing before a wedding day. They are a fantastic way for you and your photographer to get to know each other, break down that initial awkwardness, and understand how each other work! From the perspective of my couples, I’ve been told it’s been lovely to meet me before the wedding day (as this isn’t always possible!), and obviously the photos themselves are something to treasure. From my perspective – and I’m sure other photographers can agree – it’s really crucial to learn how the couple interact with each other so that you can get the best out of them! For an engagement shoot in Hampshire, I’ve found that woodland locations, like Staunton Country Park are ideal for this!

Anyway, that’s enough about why you should consider an engagement shoot from your wedding photographer… Here’s a few examples from my latest pre-wedding shoot! Featuring Abi & Oli, who got married in June 2024 (click here to see the wedding!). For their engagement shoot in Havant, we wandered around Staunton Country Park, which features a gorgeous lake, and acres of woodland. Perfect! We chatted about our Christian faith, about their wedding plans, and most importantly we captured some really special moments together… Take a look below at the majority of the photos, all in colour this time round! Please do get in touch with me soon if you’re considering having an engagement shoot as part of your wedding package.
